Research by the Ministry of Tourism shows that kiwi travellers are actively using the internet as a key medium for booking their accommodation and activities in New Zealand. An impressive 52% of accommodation bookings were made online and 62% for activity and attractions by respondents to the Regional Visitor Monitor.
A clear indication that all sectors, businesses and organisations in the New Zealand Tourism industry should be focused on providing an automated online booking and payment option for their customers to easily book online. See more details about the online booking research here.
